The shoebox is the cake. It actually has normal chocolate frosting on the sides. The lid is made out of fondant though.I wouldn't dare eat that shoe. It took days to get it to set right :)
I've only seen this cake on your camera, so I didn't see any of the incredible detail. Wow! Is that tissue paper around the shoe or is that fondant too?
